Getting to a Table - How It Actually Works
Our gaming space covers more than 100,000 square feet split over two floors, so it can feel big the first time you walk in. Once you have done it once, the flow is pretty simple.
First, make your way to 4331 Dominion Street, Burnaby, BC. Bring valid government-issued photo ID with you - the legal minimum age here is 19 and we are strict on that.
At the entrance, our team may check your ID before you even see the main floor. It is routine and takes just a moment.
From there, move toward the main floor table games area. That is where you will find blackjack grouped with roulette, baccarat, and the different casino poker games. We keep these together in one part of the floor instead of scattering them around, so once you are in the right area it is easy to scan for open spots.
Take a look at the placard sitting on each table. It shows the minimum and maximum bet for that game at that time. Limits are not fixed all week - they tend to change with the day of the week and the hour, so yesterday’s number might not apply tonight.
If you are hunting specifically for Low Limit or the Electronic Blackjack stations, it is sometimes quicker to ask a floor attendant where they are currently set up. Those tables and terminals can move around as we adjust the layout.
For Free Bet or Kings Bounty, it helps to confirm with the dealer before you sit that the variant you want is the one actually running on that table. The layouts can look similar at a glance and this avoids you getting a few hands in then realizing the rules are not what you expected.
When you are ready, buy in at the table you choose. Hand your cash to the dealer and they will exchange it for chips in front of you. If you prefer, you can stop by the cashier cage first, pick up chips there, and then walk in already set.
If the format is new to you, or you just want a refresher, say so. Our dealers can run through the variant-specific rules with you before a round starts so that what the house hits or stands on does not come as a surprise.
One thing we always encourage for blackjack, no matter where you play: decide on a session budget when you are still away from the felt. Setting that number before you sit down makes it easier to enjoy the game once the cards start landing.
VIP Blackjack and High-Limit Rooms
For guests looking for higher stakes and a quieter environment, we operate dedicated VIP gaming spaces inside the property. The Cypress Room is our main high-limit area. It spreads Squeeze Baccarat and Blackjack at limits aimed at more serious or experienced players. The Lions Room is a separate VIP room with its own mix of tables, including high-limit options.
Entry into these areas generally depends on a minimum buy-in level or holding a player card at a qualifying tier. Requirements can shift, so the simplest move is to check with the floor staff stationed at each VIP entrance. They can tell you what applies on the day of your visit. Once inside, you will notice the feel is different from the main floor - the atmosphere is quieter, dealers are dedicated to those games, and table maximums run higher. If your main goal is a focused high-limit blackjack session, it usually makes sense to contact us ahead of a busy weekend or holiday to see whether reserving a spot is worth it.
